Green Infrastructure for the Coast: A Primer for Local Decision Making is a compilation of lesson learned to introduce municipal decision makers, staff, and planning boards to green infrastructure and its coastal application.

Through the Green and Resilient Infrastructure Project URI-CRC engaged a team of practitioners and worked with Newport, North Kingstown, and Warwick. The learn-by-doing approach developed conceptual designs and compiled Rhode Island examples where coastal Green Infrastructure provides cost-effective approaches to manage stormwater as well as reducing shoreline risks of flooding and erosion.
